I have to start once more complaining about the organisation. It was a complete “fuck you” to the fans and you could tell that every bad decision happened because of greed and desire to make the most money from it. I’m not even going to go into how expensive everything is, because I’ve already gotten used to it, but I have to say that if I had had tickets to Normal circle, I would’ve been seriously pissed. The Normal circle was so freaking far behind that I have no idea how these people saw anything. Even the giant screens were tiny to them! Also the food courts were terrible. We stayed in line for 45 minutes to get a hot dog when there were only ten people in front of us. The line simply wouldn’t move. We started interacting with the other people in the line and making jokes to pass the time (and people say metalheads are aggressive… pfft), but eventually Rammstein started and we gave up.
The opening bands were all ok, except for Bullet for my Valentine. Oh god, let me cringe. Who the fuck likes that? I saw *no one* being excited about this band, everyone was lying on the grass or buying drinks or food, generally just waiting for it to end. It was so boring and fake and over the top!
And then there was Rammstein…. ahhh, words cannot begin to describe how awesome this band is live!!!! Till is creepy as shit, Richard is hot as shit and Flake is funny as shit. I have decided Flake is my favourite member of the band, him yelling at Till when he was trying to cook him, only to hide quickly when Till shot fire at him and then come back up shaking his fist and (probably) cursing Till was hilarious!!! I can even imagine the band before a major tour: “hi Flake, how are you today? Ok, this is what we’re gonna do to you *this* tour” :))
The awe factor was a bit small now, as it was the second time that I was seeing them and I knew what to expect, but it was still a great show. I can’t even begin to imagine anything else but a great show from Rammstein, they are made to be on stage. There’s a certain kind of energy that a Rammstein show generates and I swear it’s not just from the pyros 😛 The setlist was just perfect and the audience was perfect and I yelled my lungs out and headbanged my head off and my feet are killing me, but I would do it again and again and again!
